This page has an example of the products that the PRSN would issue if an activation of the Tsunami Protocol for the Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands Region occurred.<\/p>\n

The PRSN website will update the information corresponding to the Protocol as shown in the next examples.<\/p>\n

Rapid Earthquake Alert (REA):<\/h2>\n

  1. Web Banner: <\/strong>When a\u00a0Rapid Earthquake Alert<\/strong> (REA<\/strong>) has been issued the\u00a0 Banner will be updated to a gray color. The REA only provide information of the earthquake.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

Web Banner: <\/strong>When information is issued of an earthquake that does not comply with the parameters to activate a tsunami warning, the Banner will update green for 12 hours, then turn gray, indicating that\u00a0No Warning, Advisory or Watch is in effect for Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
